Easter Hymn/Song

There is a Redeemer
There is a redeemer,
Jesus, God\’s own Son,
Precious Lamb of God, Messiah,
Holy One,

Jesus my redeemer,
Name above all names,
Precious Lamb of God, Messiah,
Oh, for sinners slain.

Thank you oh my father,
For giving us Your Son,
And leaving Your Spirit,
\’Til the work on Earth is done.

When I stand in Glory,
I will see His face,
And there I\’ll serve my King forever,
In that Holy Place.

Thank you oh my father,
For giving us Your Son,
And leaving Your Spirit,
\’Til the work on Earth is done.

There is a redeemer,
Jesus, God\’s own Son,
Precious Lamb of God, Messiah,
Holy One,

Thank you oh my father,
For giving us Your Son,
And leaving Your Spirit,
\’Til the work on Earth is done.

And leaving Your Spirit,
\’Till the work on Earth is done.

Easter Song

Hear the bells ringing
They\’re singing that you can be born again
Hear the bells ringing
They\’re singing Christ is risen from the dead

The angel up on the tombstone
Said He has risen, just as He said
Quickly now, go tell his disciples
That Jesus Christ is no longer dead

Joy to the world, He has risen, hallelujah
He\’s risen, hallelujah
He\’s risen, hallelujah

Hear the bells ringing
They\’re singing that you can be healed right now
Hear the bells ringing, they\’re singing
Christ, He will reveal it now

The angels, they all surround us
And they are ministering Jesus\’ power
Quickly now, reach out and receive it
For this could be your glorious hour

Joy to the world, He has risen, hallelujah
He\’s risen, hallelujah
He\’s risen, hallelujah, hallelujah

The angel up on the tombstone
Said He has risen, just as He said
Quickly now, go tell his disciples
That Jesus Christ is no longer dead

Joy to the world, He has risen, hallelujah
He\’s risen, hallelujah
He\’s risen, hallelujah
Hallelujah

  1. My children have been enjoying his songs. I don't think his stuff has dated as much as some of the other music from that time period but I felt old when I realised the only music I had of his was on a record!
